Handling of Personal Data
Personal data is information that can be used to identify a natural person, i.e., information through which persons can be identified. This includes in particular names, email addresses, student identification numbers, or telephone numbers. However, data about preferences, hobbies, memberships, or information about websites visited also count as personal data.
Personal data is only collected, used, and shared by us if this is legally permitted or if users have consented to the data collection.
The data of Goethe University employees for the purpose of personnel administration, teaching, research, and examination activities are collected and processed on the basis of the Hessian Higher Education Act, the Matriculation Ordinance of the State of Hesse, TV-GU, civil service law, and personnel law regulations.
