- No test was conducted regarding "screen reader compatibility" (although heading hierarchies were reviewed and ALT texts were added).
- No test was conducted regarding "keyboard operability" (however, attention was paid to sufficient size and contrast for buttons).
- No test was conducted regarding "understandable language" (however, for general descriptions, preference was given to formulations with short sentences, simple sentence structure, and easily understandable words).
This statement was created on October 9, 2025. The assessment is based on a self-evaluation by the person responsible for editorial content (in accordance with § 18 para. 2 MStV) of the Institute for Digital Medicine and Clinical Data Sciences.

Explanation
Goethe University Frankfurt is aware of the urgent need for action and is striving for a barrier-free website with the current tender and ongoing implementation of a comprehensive web relaunch in conjunction with newly regulated editorial procedures. This is mentioned as a requirement in the implementation concept. The implementation will begin gradually from early 2026.
The website of the Institute for Digital Medicine and Clinical Data Sciences will only be integrated into the barrier-free web presence of Goethe University at a later date. Therefore, some content is not yet fully accessible.
