New elective seminar for the winter term
For the first time in the winter semester 2026/2027, the Institute is offering the elective module ‘Zombie-Apokalypse, Lockdown und das Netzwerk Universitätsmedizin’ to medical students in the clinical phase of their studies. In this interactive seminar, a fictional but biologically plausible pandemic scenario is devised, and the progression from an outbreak to potential innovations in patient care is discussed.
Scientific Contribution on Oncological Treatment Lines Accepted for Publication
The "Institute for Digital Medicine and Clinical Data Sciences" has successfully submitted the manuscript of a survey on oncological treatment lines to the renowned Springer Nature Journal "BMC Cancer" – publication is scheduled for September 2025. The survey addresses the understanding, essential characteristics, and classification criteria of treatment lines from a medical perspective.
