Fidaxomicin-Register

{DE}Das Fidaxomicin-Register ist eine multizentrische retrospektive Studie in Deutschland zum Einsatz von Fidaxomicin vs. Vancomycin bei immunsupprimierten Patient:innen mit einer rekurrenten/refraktären Clostridioides difficile Infektion zwischen den Jahren 2013 und 2023. Es werden sowohl klinische als gesundheitsökonomische Parameter in einem 90 Tage Follow-up analysiert. Das Studienzentrum in Frankfurt war an der Studie beteiligt; die Hauptverantwortung für das Projekt lag jedoch bei der Uniklinik Köln.

{EN}The Fidaxomicin Registry is a multicentre, retrospective study in Germany comparing the use of fidaxomicin vs. vancomycin in immunocompromised patients with recurrent/refractory Clostridioides difficile infection between the years 2013 and 2023. The aim is to analyse the clinical and health economic parameters and outcomes in a 90-day follow-up. The study center in Frankfurt participated in the trial, while overall responsibility for the project was hold by the University Hospital Cologne.
